Days 1 & 2: Tortillis Camp, Kenya
Your safari holiday in Kenya starts with a meeting with a representative
from your hotel for your transfer by road to Wilson Airport to connect
with your Air Kenya scheduled flight to the Amboseli Airstrip. Upon arrival,
you will be met by a lodge representative for your transfer to the camp.
You will enjoy 2 nights at Tortillis Camp in twin tents with en suite
facilities on a full board basis. These include morning and afternoon
game drives, game walks with sundowners, laundry, Manyatta Masai Village
visit (excluding entrance fee) and park fees.
Tortillis Camp is a wonderful camp renowned for its rustic simplicity,
unobtrusive design and attention to comfort without compromising the ecosystem.
Accommodation is in large and spacious tents each boasting a bedroom with
luxurious king size beds or generous twin beds, a dressing area, and a
modern bathroom with pressurized hot and cold showers and flush toilets.
Each tent is raised on a wooden deck and sheltered by a makuti (thatch)
roof overhanging a large verandah.
Days 3 and 4: Masai Mara Bush Camp, Kenya
On day 3 of your safari holiday in Kenya, you will be transferred to the
airstrip to connect with your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara airstrip.
Upon arrival, you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred
to the camp. You will spend 2 nights at the Masai Mara Bush Camp in a
twin tent with en suite facilities on a full board basis. This includes
beer, soft drinks, bottled water and house wine, laundry, daily game drives,
afternoon game walks, sundowners, bush breakfasts or lunch, night game
drives, park fees and return airstrip transfers.
The Masai Mara is Kenya premier Game Reserve and wilderness area and is
situated in the northern section of the great Serengeti/Mara ecosystem.
The Mara plains are home to a significant amount of plains game, as well
as predators.
Accommodation at the Masai Mara Bush Camp is in spacious canvas tents
with en suite facilities and comfortable furniture. Sit around the crackling
bush fire and enjoy the sights and sounds of this breathtaking country.
Guests can also participate in game drives each day, some night drives
for a nocturnal experience, and bush walks with professional and experienced
guides.
Day 5: Depart
On the final day of your safari holiday in Kenya, you will be transferred
to the airstrip to connect with your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport.
Upon arrival you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
for your onward flight back home.
