Note: This package is based on arrival and departure from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Day 1: Nairobi Serena Hotel, Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met and transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel. Dinner is not included.

Day 2: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, you will be driven to the Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch you get to experience the afternoon game drive on your Kenya travel package. Don’t be surprised to find Elephant munching on plants or a variety of wildlife drinking water at the floodlit waterhole.

From the smallest to the largest mammals, you will find them in this National Park during your Kenya travel package. This evening a bush barbecue dinner will be organised for you, excluding beverages but including cultural Maasai tribal dancers.

Accommodation: There are 96 well appointed rooms and a swimming pool filled with fresh water from a spring flowing from Mount Kilimanjaro. High tea and meal times are relaxing and provide an opportunity for discussions on the highlights of the day.

Day 3: Serena Mountain Lodge, Mount Kenya

This morning you enjoy breakfast at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge before departing to Nairobi. You will arrive just in time for lunch at the Nairobi Serena hotel. After lunch depart from Nairobi via the Great North Road, through the famed Kenyan highlands into Mount Kenya National Park.

Arrive in time for lunch at Serena Mountain Lodge – located at 2,194 metres on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Serena Mountain Lodge is surrounded by a dense rainforest that comes alive at dusk with a myriad of sounds that make the African bush so special. Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and waterbuck are regular visitors to the Lodge’s waterhole.

Accommodation: Guests are hosted in 42 lovely rooms furnished with indigenous wood and African art, and a private bathroom. A spacious verandah overlooks the active waterhole.

Day 4: Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Nanyuki

Breakfast at Serena Mountain Lodge. After breakfast drive north to Nanyuki, arriving in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. After lunch continue on the afternoon game viewing drives in the sanctuary, experiencing more of your Kenya travel package.

Accommodation: One of only 4 private game reserves in Kenya, Sweetwaters excels at giving an exclusive private game viewing experience. Accommodation is offered in a wonderful lodge environment with surrounding gardens.

Days 5 - 6: Samburu Serena Safari Lodge, Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, you drive north to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge, which is followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Accommodation: Making full use of natural materials and artwork, complimenting the environment, all guest rooms are located in wooden thatched cottages. Each cottage has a private verandah overlooking the river so that the Crocodile can be seen feeding.

The morning of day 6 you enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast you can participate in the morning and afternoon game drives in the Samburu Game Reserve. The surrounding terrain is well known for rare game sightings, such as long necked Gerrunuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, and the Beisa Oryx. Leopard can also be spotted.

Days 7 - 8: Mara Serena Safari Lodge, Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge, you depart at 09h15 from the Samburu Airstrip on the scheduled flight for Mara Serena. Upon arrival you will go on a morning game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch will be at the lodge. After lunch, you can indulge in another exciting game drive in this premier destination.

Accommodation: The hotel has been designed to mirror a traditional Maasai village or Manyatta and all the guest rooms are located in individual domed huts, grouped in a circular manner. The furnishings of each room have been inspired by traditional Maasai art, and feature private balconies.

On day 8 of your Kenya travel package you spend the whole day on activities on the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You can go on game drives during the morning and afternoon across the vast plains. The herds of Wildebeest and Zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during the period of the annual migration. The Migration period is from July to November.

Day 9: Depart

Breakfast at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. After breakfast transfer to the airstrip to catch the scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. From there you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight home.
